Chris JohnsonPastor Chris grew up in a strong Christian home and trusted Christ at an early age. He and his wife, Alicia, began serving full-time in the ministry after graduating from Trinity Baptist College in Jacksonville, Florida, in May, 1995. Since that time, he has served in churches both in Georgia and Florida and has completed a M.Ed. in Leadership through Regent University. As Senior Pastor, Pastor Chris oversees the various ministries and the day-to-day operations of the church. Alicia is also actively involved in the various ministries of the church. She primarily serves in the Music Ministry by singing and playing the piano and oversees the Ladies Ministry.
Pastor Chris is an avid football fan, loves all things Georgia Tech, and enjoys spending time with his family. He and Alicia have six daughters and four sons: Joe, 22; Ethan, 21; Autumn, 19; Emma, 19; Alyssa, 19; Aaron, 18; Andrea, 17; Amelia, 12; Alex, 8; and Anna Beth, 5. Seven of their children were adopted through the foster care system. The Johnsons also have the privilege of serving as foster parents and regularly welcome additional children into their home. The whole family is passionate about Orphan Care (James 1:27), and they are grateful for opportunities to share their story and burden with various church and community groups. *Ages as of June, 2016.
